Airlines' confidence in the travel and tourism industry in Phoenix continues to benefit travelers with more options than ever to fly.

The most recent sign of that confidence emerged with Southwest Airlines relaunching seasonal service between Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Memphis, scheduled to resume in September.
Sky Harbor not only saw new routes introduced and announced, but also new airlines. Breeze Airways, launched by JetBlue founder David Neeleman, and Lynx Air, a Canadian ultra-low-cost carrier, recently began flying out of Phoenix.
