Chairman Arellano Urges Affected Republicans to Document and Report Issues to RNC and DOJ
PHOENIX — AZGOP Chairman Sergio Arellano issues the following statement regarding reported mail-in ballot delivery issues:
The Arizona Republican Party is aware of reports from Arizona voters concerning the non-delivery or delayed delivery of mail-in ballots.
After consulting with AZGOP counsel and relevant parties at the Republican National Committee, we are encouraging affected voters to document and report their experiences promptly. Every eligible voter must have a fair and meaningful opportunity to cast a ballot, and any issue that could interfere with that right deserves appropriate review.
Importantly, a registered voter who has not received a requested mail-in ballot may still vote in person. Voters should consult their county recorder’s or county elections office’s official website for current information about authorized early-voting and Election Day voting locations, as well as available ballot-replacement options. Voters should bring the identification required under Arizona law.
Voters who have not received their mail-in ballot, experienced an unusual delay, or encountered another ballot-related issue may report the matter through the RNC’s Arizona election integrity portal at
https://protectthevote.com/report-fraud/arizona
Voters may also contact the RNC Election Integrity Hotline: (520) 900-0419
We also encourage affected voters to file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division: https://civilrights.justice.gov/report/
When submitting a report, voters should provide as much specific information as possible, including relevant dates, locations, communications, and supporting documentation.
The AZGOP will continue monitoring the situation and working with the appropriate parties to ensure that Arizona’s election laws are followed, reported concerns are appropriately reviewed, and every lawful vote is protected.
