Republican Party of Arizona Increases Ticket Limit for Trump 2020 Re-Election Watch Party
“Watch party organizers throughout the state are estimating great turnout”
PHOENIX – The limit on tickets for a pro-Trump watch party hosted by the Republican Party of Arizona was increased Tuesday, following additional requests to attend the standing-room-only event.
Mindful that its Phoenix office could comfortably accommodate between 125-150 people, the Republican Party of Arizona capped the number of tickets at that latter amount to avoid overcrowding. However, after hitting 150 reservations over the weekend, the party announced it would increase the total number of tickets to 200 to allow more people an opportunity to register.
As of Tuesday morning, more than 180 people had registered for the Phoenix event.
“The enthusiasm among Republicans is at an all-time high right now – and it’s all because of President Trump and his ‘America First’ policies,” said Republican Party of Arizona Chairman Kelli Ward. “Watch party organizers throughout the state are estimating great turnout for their events, which will help demonstrate the energy and passion Americans share for re-electing President Trump and Republicans down ballot in 2020.”
More than 25 similar watch parties have been organized around the state – from Phoenix to Tucson to Payson to Kingman – to correspond with President Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign rally in Orlando, Fla. The venues for these events range from small house parties to large gatherings at restaurants and community centers.
